Doctorate candidate in Seismic Engineering and Structural Dynamics and specialized in Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) (2017 to present) at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia. He received his BSc in civil engineering from the University of Duhok (High Honor, 2010). He graduated his MSc in civil engineering from Eastern Mediterranean University (High Honor, 2014). He has more than 7 years in different academic institutions and construction companies. He is a member of several international associations such as ACI, ASTM, EERI, ASCE and GPRTU1208. Lately, he is investigating the evaluation of the road damages by NDT methods such as GPR and seismic soil response to detect the water content and its changes by seasonal effects. He is a reviewer in several international journals. He is collaborating as MC substitute and WG member with several Cost Actions supported by Horizon 2020 in different fields such as GPRTU1208, SAGA CA17131, Big-Sky-Earth TD1403, SARCOS CA15202, Bridge-Spec TD1406, TIDES ES1401.
