Dr. Abir Jrad is an Assistant Professor at the Water Researches and Technologies Center. She obtained her Ph.D. degree in January 2014 from both Universities of Tunis El Manar, in Tunisia, and Aix-Marseille in France.

She works on Applied Geophysics to Hydrogeology, Environemental studies, Archaeological Prospections, also to Geomorphology, Civil Engineering, Mineral deposits.

Areas of interests: magnetic mapping and magnetic properties of minerals; gravimetry, electrical methods and also geophysical modeling and machine learning applied to geosciences.
