Mihail Băț is PhD researcher and lecturer at Moldova State University. His doctoral thesis focused on the study of the communities from the Midlle Dniester Region in the XIIth-3rd centuries BC (supervision Prof. Aurel Zanoci). Current projects focus on Iron Age archaeology, geoarchaeology, geophysics, GIS and landscape archaeology. He participated at numerous national and international scientific conferences. Author and co-author of more than 50 scientific publications, including a monograph.
