BIO

I am a geomorphologist, with a background in morphotectonics and landscape evolution. In recent years I am particularly interested in weathering processes and rock decay mechanisms, in various temporal and spatial scales - from bacterial erosion in stalagmites, to mechanical decay of rocks during forest fires, and chemomecanical decay in carbonate terrains.
